Okay so I'm New to this, trying to help my grandkids. One tried for a few hours then I tried. I just can't get any tork. It all works in my hands. When I put it down the clutch just spins and I have tried it with the spring nut fully down/up it both the same. Some grease might have gotten on the slip clutch but I rub it off with cloth. I would like to give up. I might see about buying a new gearbox and clutch. Bug it would be better if I knew. Anyway best wishes and thanks for the videos

What is the piece on the back of the starter mount inside the motor?

I put 60wt. It doesn’t feel stiff enough; I guess I’ll try 90wt.

I actually pushed a lot of power through mine and the stock axles keep blowing I knew you had to take apart the diff. I just didn’t believe it but now I believe it get the blue hot racing ones instead.

How durable did you get your e revo with all the upgrades? Seems like you have to spend a lot of money to make it durable but that it still won’t be as durable as its competitors like granite grom or mjx 14 series.

A little late but I rebuilt my trans using this video and I used the traxxas silicone grease as described in the video but it leaked everywhere leaving my diff dry. I have recently learned that the rustler stock diff isn't sealed so a thin grease or oil will just leak out. It seems a thicker grease like the one used in the video will work a lot better in the rustler diff.

Will this work with the stampede 4x4 vxl that they released this year?

Hi i have a monster truck from 2006 and has a 2215 tx-tal reciever in it and a tq3 transmitter which has three channel switches on it a on/off and two trim dials,I bought this in 2006 run 6 tanks threw the machine everything worked fine then never used again until today, now with new batteries switched on controls do nothing but i can start motor and manually rev it up.the reciever is getting 6v but do they break down in the crystals over time ? any help would be greatful

We hot glue or tape the holes closed in the rims whenever we get new tires to prevent water from getting in there in the first place. Some tires are ribbed on the inside (Arrma Notorious Backflips for example) and so you would only drain the ribbed section that you drilled. The remaining ribs would work like dams holding the water. But this simple fix does work on most tires, and some tires are even vented on the outside from the factory.
